If you are ever looking for an inexpensive makeup brand with decent brushes, accessories etc., try out @rccosmetics. They have a ton of great makeup & more that has the quality of some of your favorite brands, but at a lower cost. My favorite product that they offer is their ‘brush tree‘, which is the best accessory to dry your brushes! See how I used it below.
Even though it is okay to lay your brushes flat to dry, the best way to dry them is vertically upside down. The brushes will dry faster and evenly without any flat spots, and it prevents water from pooling where the glue is holding the hairs in, which also prevents shedding.
The brush tree comes in about 3 pieces and is extremely easy to assemble. There are different sized slots to insert various brushes, and I even grouped some of my skinnier brushes in the same slot. With very little effort I was able to place 47 brushes into one tree! I never usually wash more than that amount of brushes at a time so the size is perfect for me, but if you are a makeup artist by profession, a few more trees may be needed. Great thing is that they are on sale for only $19.95.
Another great accessory to have is a brush glove. There are a lot of fancy gloves out there to clean your brushes, I have one myself that I love :), but a textured soft surface is all you really need. You can get this cleaning glove on sale for only $6.96, and make your brush cleaning go a whole lot faster.
Their glosses are high quality with a built in light and mirror for only $8.96, and these glitter pots sell for only $1.70. (finer grain glitters are best applied with a liquid adhesive).
They also sell lashes for $4 and they vary from natural to fun like the ones pictured here. I am a little particular when it comes to my lashes but I wouldn’t be afraid to rock these for a fun night out!
