Sally Beauty is your one stop shop for all things hair and nails. They have a huge Nail Studio with 750 shades of various brands, including FingerPaints, which is exclusive to Sally Beauty.
One color that every girl needs this Spring is a classic white shade, so I purchased ‘Paper Maché’ by FingerPaints. I also purchased ‘Dulce De Leche’ by OPI, ‘Go Crazy Red’ by China Glaze, as well as a clear top coat by Seche Vite. All of these brands have a great, thick formula for long lasting color, and the Seche Vite top coat is my absolute favorite. Not only does it seal your color but it also dries fast and prevents chipping longer than any other topcoat I’ve used.
I originally wanted to paint all of my nails with a nice matte white coat; however, I decided to add a little design to give a trendy twist to a classic look. Here are four easy steps to create this simple nail look:
Paint all of your nails with two coats of ‘Paper Maché’ by OPI.
Using a toothpick or a nail art tool, dip the tip into ‘Go Crazy Red’ and make four small dots at the corner of your nail.
Clean off your dotting tool and dip it into ‘Dulce De Leche’ to place a dot in the center of your four red dots, creating a flower.
Finish by sealing your designed nail with the Seche Vite top coat.
That’s it, simple right?!
If you like more of a classic look skip the design and go for a clean all matte white look, which has been popular on the runways this year. You can find all of these shades and more at any of the Sally Beauty stores in your area.
